Where to find Stefan Lanford after the epilogue (Damiane's trust reward)
Stefan Lanford isn't in his office after the epilogue. During the day he's at the spear training area in the castle's lower court, helmet down.
Steps
- Go there during the day. Visit the castle in daytime. Players who searched his office and the rest of the castle at other times kept missing him, and both confirmed sightings were during the day.
- Head to the lower court spear training area. Look near the spear training area in the castle's lower court. Another player put him on the corner of the training ring next to the constabulary, at the north end of the castle.
- Look for a figure with the helmet down. He's standing with a couple of guards and his helmet covers his face, which is why he's easy to walk past.
- Talk to him. The player who found him spoke to him as both Kliff and Damiane.
The problem: after finishing the story you want to see Stefan Lanford as Damiane for the reward he gives at 100 trust. He’s never in the room where guides say he should be, and searching the castle at different times of day turns up nothing.
Where he is: in the daytime after the epilogue, he’s at the spear training area in the castle’s lower court, standing with a couple of guards with his helmet down. Two players found him in that spot independently, and the original poster marked it as the answer.
Avoid the problem next time
One player said you can raise his trust before the end of the story. When the final chapter starts you meet him at a fort, and you can give him flower baskets there, so bring enough to reach 100%. They also warned that if you leave and come back he won’t be there any more, and they had to reload a save to get it done.
